Allan Davey was Born Allan Lee Davey Jr on Sept 23rd 1971 In Exeter NH (The Birth Place of The Republican Party too) It was in 1981 when Allan And his Family would move to Portsmouth NH where Allan Would Discover Rock N Roll And how Much he wanted to be a part Of it..After Borrowing his Uncle Greggs KISS Albums and hearing Judas Priest for the first Time  ! He Was Hooked.
 
Allan  first picked up the guitar at the age of 10 and at 14  Started what would be his first Band Called EZ Action which Later would become Razors Edge Which Would Have many line Up Changes during a 5 years Period!! With Allan Davey on guitars and Adam Clark on Guitars and Vocals and Ian Clark on Bass and Vocals and Gil Standish on Drums .. They would play Their First show at Portsmouth Junior Highs Battle of the Bands on Jan 2nd 1986, Coming in 2nd place .
 
Later that Month They  Had changed The Bands Name to Razors Edge and were Joined By Joe Rhoner on Vocals Making The First Line up of Razors Edge Complete!!! 
On Feb 1986 Allan and The Rest Of Razors Edge Recorded Their First EP Self Titled . at Zero Pressure Recording in Portsmouth NH with a Budget of $500.00. Getting some great input about the EP , They went back to Zero Pressure and Recorded Dogz Day in Feb 1987..
In the Spring of 1988 Allan  had Joined another Band wyle still Playing guitar for Razors Edge! The Other Band was Kaos! with Allan On guitars along with Shawn Ferral on Guitars and Brian Clark on Bass and Mike Demaris on Drums with Jeremy Fink On Vocals .
 
 Allan would only stay in this band until the end of  summer 1988 soon to return to Razors Edge where He and The rest of Razors Edge Continued to play all over New England until The Spring of 1989 when Adam  and Ian Clark as well as drummer Gil Standish had left The Band to Join other Projects and continue their educations.
Leaving Allan and Joe Rhoner to ponder the future They would be Joined by Brian Painchaud on Bass and Tim Painchaud on Drums then David Graham on guitars to begin the second chapter of Razors Edge which many in Portsmouth say was the best Line up of that Band,(Allan Disagrees) In the Summer of 1989 Joe Rhoner was asked to leave due to many arguments with Band Members during the Off the Deep End sessions which left Allan and the rest of Razors Edge to find Yet another Vocalist! In walks Billy( Rizzo) Rizonowitz ..
Allan and this Line up would Play and write together until they disbanded in 1991.
 
In  1991 Allan Davey Released Guitars Works His first Solo CD on the Play Hard Label ! An Indy Label out Of Portsmouth NH. 
That would be an Instrumental CD Produced by former Razors Edge Alumni Adam Clark . 
 Many Say this was the reason why Razors Edge Finally called it quits But Allan would Later state that is was just time to Move on to bigger things After making Three Good Cds and Not getting a Record Deal and That  it was never the same without Adam and Ian and Gil and Joe..
 
After a Long Club Tour  and after working with Ben Orr and Jay Jean , In 1992 Allan would Release Meltdown a Harder More Metal CD going Back to His earlier Metal roots.
 
In 1993 Allan Graduated from Burklee College Of  Music In Boston Mass as well as in 1993 Allan Would Release a Live EP title Live At The Music Hall!! Six Years Later in 1999 Allan Would Release  His Last CD with The Now Defunked Play Hard Label,, The CD was called Apocalypse..
Leaving Allan to question his future , He was approached by Randy Stallon and Hanse Wethall of Bunker Records (an Indy Label out of Boston Mass and Norway!) which Signed Allan!,
 
Allan has released 6 CDS on the Bunker Label 1) Dirty Pool 2000. 2)Crunch 2001, 3)A-440 2003 4) The T5 Sessions Demos 2005 6)Chapter 10 . 2007. and Acoustic Bits EP.(Which was Printed in Limited Supply to Raise money for The MS Foundation)
 
 Allan Continues to be on The Bunker Label and has been playing clubs and big venues steadily since the age of 15. He has been on 2 labels which are Play Hard Records (now defunked),  and is currently with Bunker Records, 
 
In the Summer of 2006 After The T5 Sessions Tour Allan formed  A side Project (Mojo Bag ) with Chris Bradshaw on guitars and Keybourds and Vocals and Terry Rhintelmen on Bass and Kat Jennings on Guitars and Vocals and Ray Stewart on drums  .They would call it quits and return to their respected bands and projects in the Fall  of 2006 after gaining a Large Fan Base..
 
 There are many live boot leg recording being trade of that Band.including a One Night At Muldoons EP!!! where they ar playing  great Covers of Another Thing Coming and Livin After Midnight from Judas Priest and Allan Sings  a great version of should I stay or should I go from The Clash...
 
. Allan is also in high demand as a session musician throughout New England, New York, and Florida. He also teaches guitar to an exclusive handful of students. He is a Berklee College of Music graduate with a bachelors degree in Music Education.
 
 He has made two instructional DVDs. The first was Chop Builders and Warm-ups and the second was Phrasing and Timing. Allan is currently filming 3 new instructional DVD which will be titled Neck Navigation.
